Get some culture: I’m a big fan of the Malthouse Theatre (113 Sturt Street, Southbank, call 9685 5111). They do a great program of local productions.

Go to relax: A long walk through the Royal Botanic Gardens always helps me to unwind.

Unleash your inner child:  There’s no better place than the Collingwood Children’s Farm (18 St Heliers Street, Abbotsford). I still get excited to see the animals and explore the market.

Indulge yourself: A massage with my acupuncturist, Peter Rutty at 2Good Personal Training (48 Wilson Street, South Yarra. Call 9804 5999). It’s torture but you do feel better for it!

Spend your last $10: A coffee at my favourite cafe Barista (3A Carlton Street, Prahran. Call 9510 3008).

Buy something new: I would head to homewares store Husk in Hawksburn Village (557 Malvern Road, Toorak. Call 9827 2700). I can also get an Emma & Tom’s juice while I’m there!

Take someone you want to impress: I always enjoy a meal at HuTong Dumpling Bar (14–16 Market Lane, city. Call 9650 8128). I love the chilli wontons.

Go on your own: My Bookshop by Corrie Perkin (513 Malvern Road, Hawksburn. Call 9824 2990). There’s something relaxing about slowly browsing through the titles.

Stay up late: A great night out is spent eating tapas at Maya Tequila Bar and Grill (74 Toorak Road, South Yarra, call 9866 8836). It has amazing food and a great bar, plus there’s no queue to get in!

Want to keep a secret:  The St Kilda dog beach, where I walk my sausage dog, Daisy.
